Jeannie Perrault ~ Studio Owner & Hatha Yoga Teacher
Jeannie started practicing yoga back in 1998 prior to moving to lower Manhattan and becoming a proprietary equity trader. While living in NYC, Jeannie experienced many different styles of yoga, including Integral Yoga, a traditional style of yoga that first arrived in the USA in the 1950's from India. Integral yoga started the penetration of yoga into our countries consciousness, swept through Hollywood, and has finally swept the whole nation. Other styles Jeannie experienced were Sivanunda, Himalayan, Astanga, Kundalini as well as many other blends. She believes in a multi-style, multi-level approach so that yoga can reach every BODY. Jeannie came to understand that yoga is not just about the physical practice but includes breath work, asana postures, correct thought, correct action (Karma yoga) as well as yoga philosophy. Jeannie grew up in a chiropractic family which emphasized natural and preventive health care practices. Yogic philosophy was a natural fit. Jeannie's mission at Methuen Yoga Mat Plus has been to create a safe, non judgmental environment where anybody can come discover their own yogic path, at their own pace.

She is currently finishing up her 200 hour teacher training course with Robin Anderson at Robin's Yoga and Healing Center.

Erin Watters ~ Vinyasa Yoga
Erin began practicing yoga on a whim in May of 2005. Two co-workers invited her to practice with them at lunch, and she thought it might be fun. What began as a whim would develop into a passion. After taking her first hot yoga class in a studio, Erin knew that she had found something very special. Along with providing a great workout, yoga taught her that the next breath is always there, a valuable lesson both on and off of the mat.
Erin knew that she wanted to share the joy she found in yoga with others. Erin completed a 200 hour teacher training in June, 2011 in the Pranavayu style of yoga with its creator, David Magone and her mentor, Mary Ellen Carroll. Erin's Vinyasa classes are fun and challenging for both beginners and experienced yogis alike.

Marlena Bruno ~ Pranavayu Yoga
Marlena took her first Bikram yoga in 2002 after struggling with a knee injury. During that first class she quickly realized that this was not the yoga of flowers and mediation she imagined it to be. This was very challenging and satisfying. Thus began a life change and deep respect for yoga that would lead her over the years to practice different styles of yoga. When she discovered Power Vinyasa and Pranavayu in 2006, it just fit! She quickly noticed many benefits - physically, mentally and spiritually.
Wanting to share her deep love of the practice with others, Marlena completed her 200 hr teacher training in Pranavayu Yoga with David Magone and Mary Ellen Carroll. Her classes focus on strength, alignment, and breath, working deeper into every pose with each breath while maintaining a sense of fun.
"Yoga is more then down dogs, balancing on one foot or stretching and twisting. It's pushing myself both physically and more importantly mentally beyond my boundaries into a plain of deep awareness and empowerment in every way. Everyday on my mat is challenging and enlightening."
