VINYASA YOGA ~ Vinyasa is a vigorous form of yoga, which uses the breath to flow from one posture to another creating heat in the body. This Mind, Body, and Soul workout helps to increase strength, flexibility, and endurance while reducing stress. Class includes both standing and seated postures. Time flies in this class, its over before you know it making it perfect for both beginner and advanced yogis. Vinyasa Yoga is geared to those seeking a faster, more physical flow. Beginners always welcome. A great workout!
PRENATAL YOGA - Prenatal yoga, the deliberate weaving together of yoga and childbirth preparation, opens the door for women to reclaim their physical, mental, and emotional power and receptivity during the birth process. Prenatal yoga classes offer a place of refuge where women learn to connect with their changing bodies, their babies, and each other. Asana, or postures, prepares women physically for giving birth, but most women find that the awareness of body, mind, and breath that a prenatal yoga class teaches is what truly helps them when it's time to deliver.
HATHA YOGA ~ Hatha is a 5,000-year-old holistic path of health and self-development that begins with the body as a tangible way to affect all aspects of our being. This class is a blended style of practices and techniques taken from several yoga disciplines, and includes asanas (physical postures) guided by proper breathing which will help to align, strengthen, stretch and relax the body as well as calm the mind. Through consistent practice this will begin to purify and balance the endocrine, nervous and circulatory systems. All students (beginner to advanced) are welcome and encouraged to work at their own pace.
KUNDALINI YOGA ~ Kundalini Yoga uses breath work & Kriyas to cultivate the body's natural energies. Techniques from Tai Chi & Vinyasa Flow style of Yoga will often pop up in class as well to aid in the energy building process. Be prepared to breathe & get energized! Having energy prior to class is not a prerequisite. ;)
KRIPALU GENTLE YOGA CLASS ~ A great class for beginners or anyone interested in a slow, peaceful practice. The goal of Kripalu Yoga is to cultivate an internal meditative experience while stretching and energizing the body. This class includes basic breathing exercises as well as a variety of standing, sitting, and supine postures, ending with deep relaxation. Kripalu Yoga will help you relax your mind, strengthen your body, and recharge your chakras.
PILATES ~ A mat-based Pilates class focused on developing your core strength and balance. Come tone up and stretch out at this challenging and energizing class with Sharon!
CAPOEIRA ~ Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, sports, and music. You will have fun and sweat up a storm in this class! Step out of your comfort zone and join us on Sunday afternoons for Capoeira with Daniel.
ZUMBA ~ Zumba is a Latin inspired dance fitness class. This is your chance to feel the music and let loose! You don't even have to know how to dance - just move your body to the beats and follow Emily's (our instructor) lead. It's easy! Every class feels like a party and we guarantee you will have a blast! Come join us on Tuesday evenings for Zumba!
PRIVATE LESSONS ~ Looking for a little more personalized instruction to help guide you through your yoga practice? Do you have injuries or concerns that may benefit from personal yoga guidance? Or do you have questions that could be better answered in a private conversation between you and your favorite teacher? We now offer private and semi-private lessons with any of our Yoga instructors! Whether you want an hour just for you to refine and realign your practice or if you want a more personalized class for you and friend, we are here to help!! $75 per hour for up to 3 students. $100 for 4 or more.
